Super Smash Flash 2: Lloyd

Lloyd - the character with red suit and two swords - is the playable starter character in super smash flash 2. He originally is the main character of the Japanese role-playing game Tales of Symphonia aka the fifth main game in the Tales series. Lloyd - Lloyd Irving as full name - simple country boy, but he is thrust into the outside world following a raid on his village.

In SSF2, Lloyd currently ranks 3rd on the tier list, after Mega Knight and Zero Suit Samus. His weapon is two sword, the red one is Flamberge (flame sword) and blue one is Vorpal (ice sword). He has good combo ability, good reach in all of his attacks, a good grab game and kill moves in his down and up smash, forward aerial, forward tilt and Sonic Thrust. Lloyd is also a good edge guarder so breaking his guard will be tough. However, he suffers from a poor recovery. Due to his below average weight he is easy to knock off the stage and KO horizontally. He has problems finishing off his opponents unless they are at really high percentages. Lloyd is not a easy character to play to show his full potential so althought he ranks at 3rd in tier list but he reraly appears in online tournaments. But there is a player - Lunary - has been able to perform greatly with Lloyd and has been able to take top spots in tournaments with him.

WASD: Move

U: Grab

I: Shield

OP: Attack

Lloyd has an amazing grab and throw game, possessing the longest non-ranged grab in the current demo that is low in start up and ending lag, and is one of the few characters to have all of their throws be useful.

Fun facts about Lloyd

• Lloyd, along with Sora, Mega Man, Jigglypuff, Wario, and Naruto, are the only characters who don't applaud for the winner of a match.
• Lloyd is the only swordsman in the game so far to wield two swords in battle; Fire Sword (Flamberge) and the Ice Sword (Vorpal Sword). His weapon - Flamberge always being held in his left hand and the Vorpal sword in his right.
• Along with Mario, Ness, and Bomberman, Lloyd are the only characters so far to wear their default costumes in team battle when they are on the red team.
